Founded in 1966, the club today comprise of a mixture of English speaking rugby players from various nations, including England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, France, Argentina, Sri-Lanka, RSA, Japan, and a number of German speaking players.
We play in the northern German league and field one senior side. The club regularly undertakes tours and in the past have been to Prague, Copenhagen, Italy, Vienna and several other European destinations.
We regularly organise an International Seven-a-Side Tournament in the Hamburg Stadtpark, including teams from the British Army in Germany, the UK, Scandinavia and local German sides.
Our members come from a wide range of backgrounds including bankers, traders, labourers and top level executives from multi-national firms.
We always give a warm welcome to social and playing members and provide an "island of refuge" for lovers of rugby in Hamburg whether for a few months or several years....
